Method of Practice: Chandra Bhedi Pranayama

    Sit comfortably in Sukhasana (Easy Pose) or upright on a chair with your eyes gently closed.

    Place your left hand on your left knee in Jnana Mudra. Form Vishnu Mudra with your right hand by folding the index and middle fingers towards the palm.

    Close the right nostril with your right thumb and inhale slowly and deeply through the left nostril.

    After inhaling, retain the breath comfortably for a few seconds according to your capacity. Do not hold the breath forcefully.

    Close the left nostril with your ring finger, release the right nostril, and exhale slowly and completely through the right nostril.
  • 06
    Repeat this cycle 5–10 times. Always inhale through the left nostril and exhale through the right nostril. Do not inhale through the right nostril during this practice.
