Method of Practice: Surya Bhedi Pranayama

Sit comfortably in Sukhasana (Easy Pose) or upright on a chair with your eyes gently closed. -

Place your left hand on your left knee in Jnana Mudra. Form Vishnu Mudra with your right hand by folding the index and middle fingers towards the palm. -

Close the left nostril with your ring finger and inhale slowly and deeply through the right nostril. -

After inhaling, retain the breath comfortably for a few seconds according to your capacity. Do not hold the breath forcefully. -

Close the right nostril with your thumb and exhale slowly and completely through the left nostril. -

Repeat this cycle for 5–10 minutes. Always inhale through the right nostril and exhale through the left nostril. Do not inhale through the left nostril during this practice.
