Method of Practice: Hasta Padangusthasana

    Stand upright in Tadasana (Mountain Pose) and shift your body weight onto the left foot.

    Inhale, lift the right knee toward your abdomen. Hold the big toe of the right foot with the fingers of your right hand, while placing your left hand on your waist.

    Exhale and slowly extend the right leg straight forward. Maintain your balance and hold the posture for 4–5 deep breaths.

    Next, gently move the extended leg out to the right side and remain in this position for a few breaths.

    Bring the leg back to the centre, lower it gently, and return to Tadasana.

    Repeat the same sequence on the opposite side.

    Practice the pose a few times on both sides.
