Method of Practice: Konasana

Stand upright with your feet hip-width apart and your arms relaxed by your sides. -

Inhale and raise your left arm straight overhead, keeping the fingers pointing toward the sky. -

Exhale and gently bend your trunk to the right, stretching the left side of your body. Move your waist to the right and bend a little further while keeping the left arm fully extended. -

Turn your head and look upward toward your left palm. Keep both elbows straight throughout the posture. -

Inhale and slowly return to the upright position. -

Exhale and lower your left arm to your side. -

Repeat the same sequence with the right arm to complete one round. -

Practice 10 rounds, alternating sides.

Contraindications / Precautions
- Practice Konasana only with medical or expert guidance if you have: Slipped disc (herniated intervertebral disc)
- Cervical or lumbar spondylitis/spondylosis
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Heart disease
- Avoid excessive side bending if you experience acute back pain, dizziness, recent spinal injury, or severe osteoporosis.
- Practice under the supervision of a healthcare professional or qualified yoga instructor or if you have any chronic musculoskeletal or cardiovascular condition.
